A new concert series curated by the renowned Tony Award-winning composer, lyricist, conductor, and director, Jason Robert Brown. Each unique performance will incorporate an eclectic mix of material, featuring music from throughout his acclaimed career, along with new works in development. Tonight's (October 1st) performance will feature Cynthia Erivo, Kate McGarry, and Tony Yazbeck.

The launch concert featured, for the first time on one stage, original cast members from every one of his New York productions, from 1995's SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD to this season's THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, including Kelli O'Hara, Steve Pasquale, Carolee Carmello, Jessica Molaskey, Lauren Kennedy, Betsy Wolfe, Graham Phillips, Allie Trimm and Aaron Simon Gross. You never know who's going to show up at upcoming performances, so don't miss out!

Jason Robert Brown is the ultimate multi-hyphenate - an equally skilled composer, lyricist, conductor, arranger, orchestrator, director and performer - best known for his dazzling scores to several of the most renowned musicals of his generation, including "The Bridges of Madison County," for which Jason received the 2014 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations, the recently revived "The Last Five Years", his debut song cycle "Songs for a New World", and the seminal "Parade", winner of the 1999 Best Score Tony. The New York Times refers to Jason as "a leading member of a new generation of composers who embody high hopes for the American musical."

"Honeymoon In Vegas," starring Tony Danza and based on Andrew Bergman's film, begins performances on Broadway on November 18th following a triumphant production last fall at Paper Mill Playhouse. A film version of Jason's epochal Off-Broadway musical "The Last Five Years" will be released in early 2015, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan and directed by Richard LaGravenese, and a film of Jason's musical "13" is currently in development. Jason will be conducting "Parade" at Avery Fisher Hall in an all-star concert performance in February 2015, and he is in the midst of recording a followup to his solo CD, "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes."

Jason studied composition at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., with Samuel Adler, Christopher Rouse, and Joseph Schwantner. He lives with his wife, composer Georgia Stitt, and their daughters in New York City. Jason is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and the American Federation of Musicians Local 802 & 47. Cynthia Erivo is one of London's most treasured performers, having starred in West End productions of "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg," "I Can't Sing! The X Factor Musical," and an all-female production of "Henry IV,". She earned rave reviews from U.K. and American critics for her performance in the lead role of Celie in the 2013 London production of "The Color Purple" and has been tapped to recreate her performance in the fall 2015 Broadway revival of the musical.

With 5 critically acclaimed CDs and a Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal CD Kate McGarry has become recognized as a jazz artist who brings authenticity and vitality to every song regardless of genre. The Wall St. Journal calls her, "Austere and elegant," New York Times pronounced her music, "astute and sensitive". She currently performs in jazz clubs, Performing Arts Centers and festivals throughout the US and abroad. As an educator she has served on the faculties of Manhattan School of Music and New England Conservatory. Downbeat Magazine has cited McGarry as 'Rising Star' vocalist for the past 5 years. She has been interviewed on All Things Considered, Jazz Set w/DeeDee Bridgwater, Piano Jazz w/Marion McPartland.

Tony Yazbeck made his Broadway debut at the age of 11 as a newsboy in the 1989 revival of Gypsy starring Tyne Daly. All grown up, Yazbeck joined another revival of the classic musical as suave dancer Tulsa, opposite Patti LuPone, in 2008. Yazbeck has also shown off his hoofing skills in the 2006 A Chorus Line revival and the second Broadway outing of holiday musical White Christmas. In 2011, he joined the cast of Chicago as sly lawyer Billy Flynn and in 2015 he was nominated for his role as Gabey in On The Town on Broadway.
