In celebration of this season's best and brightest Broadway productions, Macy's and the Tony Awards® will host a "Sing For Your Tony Tickets" talent competition at locations nationwide, followed by finals at the World's Largest Store, Macy's Herald Square. Aspiring Broadway stars will get a shot to earn their way to this year's hottest ticket in town – the 2008 Tony Awards®!
On Friday, June 13 at 5PM, Broadway devotees are invited to razzle-dazzle their favorite tune for celebrity judges including Tony Award® nominee
Kerry Butler and screen veteran
Tony Roberts, now appearing in
Xanadu; surprise guest hosts from
The 39 Steps; plus the one and only "Tony Campaign Manager" Cubby Bernstein! Entrants are given the option to perform from a list of pre-selected songs. At 6PM, the judges' favorite contestant will join semi-finalists from other Macy's locations nationwide for the "Sing For Your Tickets" finals. One Grand Prize winner will receive a pair of tickets to the 62nd Annual Tony Awards® on Sunday, June 15th at Radio City Music Hall, along with a $1000 Macy's Shopping Spree!
With any $150 purchase during the event, customers can score tickets to Best Play nominee
