WWD reported on the Costume National Spring 2013 RTW collection. The designer, Ennio Capasa is quoted to have commented, "When I started in the Nineties, the message of minimalism was very innovative,” Capasa said backstage before the show. “Now we need another minimalism. More technique, more ‘couture,’ more elegant.”
Capasa took that idea into many directions, for example overlapping and cutting together different fabrics to create short dress with a single pant leg. Although this look may have gone a bit too far, the color palette of black and whites kept things clean with fresh pops of red and fuschia.
