How does inheriting $13 billion dollars sound? If it sounds like a pretty good idea, the Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild invites you to an evening of great food, big laughs and a little murder at their annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre! Four hysterical performances are scheduled: Friday, March 5, Saturday March 6 and the following week, Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13. This year, the dinner and show will be held at a NEW location - the Cortland Ramada Inn, 2 River Street in Cortland, near exit 11 off Route 81 in Cortland.
The hilarious Acme Mystery Company from Syracuse will again perform this entertaining, interactive evening of suspense and laughter accompanied by a delicious buffet meal in the elegant surroundings of the Ramada Inn ballroom.
In this year's production, titled "Deadly Inheritance", the matriarch of a wealthy family is gravely ill and wishes to settle her estate before she kicks the bucket. First on her agenda is to have an official declaration that her long lost younger son is dead. Or is he? That's where the fun begins! Join in as you and the other intensely greedy relatives - sitting at the table right next to you! - gather to memorialize "Little Dickie" and battle for position to receive the lion's share of the family's $13 billion fortune. But watch your back! The next memorial could be for you!
Tickets are available at an "Early Bird" price of $45.00 per person until January 15th, after which the price will be $50.00 each. Ticket price includes a wine punch welcome reception with hors d'oeuvres at 6:15 pm, a cash bar, dinner and the performance.
