THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS-the "live-action graphic novel" production touring the nation-is scheduled to appear on tonight's Valentine's Day broadcast of Conan. The creative team behind the production is at O'Brien's studio for a taping of a segment of the show that will include O'Brien himself, along with comedy partner Andy Richter. THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS is a hilarious, uplifting adventure of heroes-by-circumstance overcoming impossible odds.

The telling is what makes the experience of THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS so incredibly unique: while three actors, one Foley artist, and one keyboardist perform all the voices, sound effects and music, more than 1,000 hand-drawn, full-color, hi-rez, blow-your-mind comic-book images blast from the screen, all performed LIVE.

The premise is simple: a period adventure story (with no small share of laughs) featuring Pulitzer-winning reporter Molly Sloan, her intrepid assistant Timmy Mendez, and a mysterious librarian named Ben Wilcott as they face the most serious threat Earth has ever known: an impending invasion of sludge monsters from the planet Zygon.

"In 20 years of directing and producing plays, I've never seen an audience respond so positively," says project creator Jason Neulander.

Conan has flown five members of the NEMESIS cast to Los Angeles for the taping, which will feature an interview and a short segment of the production. Neulander will play "Mysterion the Magnificent"; Danu Uribe of the touring cast will play "Molly Sloan"; O'Brien will play "Ben Wilcott"; and Andy Richter will play "Timmy Mendez."

Buzz Moran will perform the sound effects he created and Graham Reynolds will play his original score. NEMESIS Company Manager Jessie Douglas will run the slideshow which features art by Tim Doyle.

THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS - Book One: Target Earth premiered at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin in 2010. It is currently touring the nation and was recently featured on a feature story by Margot Adler on NPR's All Things Considered. A sequel, entitled Book Two: Robot Planet Rising, premieres at the Long Center on June 8, 2012. Tickets for all U.S. Dates on sale at http://www.theintergalacticnemesis.com/tour
