The Commercial Theater Institute announced admission details and deadlines for the upcoming Fourteen Week Program: Advanced Topics for Commercial Producers and Managers, a course which takes a comprehensive look at many aspects of producing in the commercial theater industry.
Throughout the course, participants will interact with successful producers, and other distinguished colleagues from the Broadway industry. In depth discussions and detailed interactive presentations from Tony Awardâ- winning members of creative teams to executives from the top advertising agencies in Broadway, will offer a diverse and versatile understanding of theatre producing.
To apply for admission, participants must be nominated by a working management member of the professional theatre company. The class is limited to 27 participants, and applications are due Monday, December 8th at 6:00pm. The class will take place on Mondays from January 19th - May 4th, 2015 (no classes on Monday, February 9th or April 6th) from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Enrollment for the class is $850.

Throughout the 2014-2015 season, CTI offers many classes. Upcoming: The Flop House on October 29th, a course on how Broadway's top producers have coped with a flop but used the experience as a valuable lesson moving forward. On November 6th, Touring 101, a class on producing for the road, which is very different from producing on Broadway.
