The Maxwell Arts group, a brand new Production Company, in association with Comix Comedy Club, are not really proud to present EPIC FAIL: BROADWAY'S FUTURE FLOPS, but they're going to present it anyway!

EPIC FAIL is a new semi-regular comedy concert which was originally going to showcase brilliant new musical numbers written by some of today and tomorrow's superstar composers however, all of these so-called composers had some terrible ideas for new musicals (that the producers may have chosen for them) and had to be stopped. But, rather than wasting the songs they had already written, the decision was made to throw all the songs together and produce a concert!

Who hasn't been begging for FORREST GUMP: A MUSICAL SPECTACULAR? or perhaps MOMMIE DEAREST: THE MUSICAL is more your style? Arthur Miller'S CRUCIBLE THE MUSICAL? Songs from these hopefully-never-to-be-seen musicals and more will be sung live!

Featuring great new music by Will Van Dyke and Josh Holloway, Doug Katsaros, Brent Black (I'LL BE DAMNED, Nick Messitte (GET GOT), Seth Bisen-Hersh, Ashley Griffin, Rachel Bloom, Ellen Greenfield and Brad Ross (LITTLE BY LITTLE) Michael Sutherland, David John Madore, Josh Schmidt (THE ADDING MACHINE) and more to be announced.

The host and performers will be announced shortly.

The director is Marc Eardley and the musical director is David John Madore.

The concert is Sunday, December 5th at 7pm sharp at Comix Comedy Club which is located at 353 West 14th St.

Tickets, priced at $15 w/ a two drink minimum, can be purchased here: http://comixny.com/event.aspx?eid=862&sid=3104 or by calling the Comix box office at 212-524-2500. Proceeds benefit The Maxwell Arts Group, a 501c3 pending non-profit.

For more information or to tell the producers to not present this original concert email maxwellartsgroup@gmail.com.

Despite the terrible ideas for musicals that'll be presented, the songs are amazing, the composers are actually extremely talented and the producers wish to express their hope that you come to the concert anyway...for a stiff drink and a good laugh.
