Whether he's singing an ode to "queer tattoos," telling his potential paramour all the things he won't be doing for her, or lamenting his new vegan lifestyle, Stephen Lynch will always consider himself "a musician trapped in the body of a comedian." Comix At Foxwoods will give guests the chance to witness his hilarity when he visits Fox Theater at Foxwoods tonight, Feb. 23, 2013 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the highly-anticipated show are available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $30, $42.50 and $55.

Lynch's unique blend of musical based comedy has earned him fiercely loyal fans around the world, who live to experience his sold-out live shows, four best-selling CDs, RIAA-certified Gold DVD and top-rated Comedy Central specials. His highly-anticipated fifth album, "Lion," was released in November 2012 and contains 13 new tracks, with studio and live versions of each. The album's live version was recorded at New York City's Symphony Space, and captures Lynch's fans hearing some of the material performed live for the first time.

In 2006, Lynch stepped onto the Broadway stage for the first time in the title role of "The Wedding Singer." His performance earned nominations for some of the highest honors in American Theatre, including the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, as well as the highly coveted Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.

Lynch's albums "A Little Bit Special," "Superhero," "The Craig Machine" and "3 Balloons" have sold hundreds of thousands of copies around the world. His first DVD, "Live at the El Rey," was certified Gold by RIAA, and he has toured with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Lewis Black and the late Mitch Hedberg. Additionally, he has headlined his own sold out shows throughout the United States, Australia and Europe, where it's been said he's "the Beyonce of Scandinavia."
