Although only a runner up in the New Jersey Preliminaries of The Miss AmErica Pageant Croonquist - a native of Paterson - came in as a winner when was voted as New Jersey's Funniest Female. Now a West coast resident, the Black-Jewish-Swedish mother of two regularly performs at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood, has been featured on several network and cable television programs and is the co-author of the 2015-issued cookbook "Kosher Soul Food" (Putnam & Smith Publishing Company). She's also the director of the LA School of Comedy in Los Angeles.
