CBS's "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" canceled an appearance with Chicago comedian Hannibal Buress on Thursday. Buress blames a tweet that he sent out, which stated, "Yo @CraigyFerg last time I did your show you left set before I went on and I had an awkward fadeout situation."

Buress tweeted, "I don't know if Ferguson had anything to do with this situation. But it's pretty wack nonetheless... "I hope that it was all the producers doing and not Ferguson. If ferguson made that call it would be 10 times as wack. Also I didn't pursue them for a set at all. The booker asked me. I haven't done stand up on late night in more than a year by choice. I'm more disappointed than angry. Unless my stream of twitter facts gets me blackballed from late night, I'll do a set somewhere else soon."

"@hannibalburess Hey. Just saw your tweet," Ferguson tweeted to Buress afterward. "That's bullsh*t. I'll fix it tomorrow. You are welcome on my show."
