"Columbine. April 20, 1999. 15 dead. 23 wounded. The worst school shooting in U.S. history until April 16, 2007. 8 years and more than 40 school shootings later, we still have a lot to learn. Based on interviews with survivors, Taubman's (Summer of the Swans tour, co-founder of NYC's Atolas Theatre Company) provocative and timely play A Line In The Sand searches for answers," state press notes.
The production features scenic and costume design by Lea Umberger, lighting design by Sarah Sidman, sound designer is Elizabeth Rhodes and board operator is Jesse Lynn Jarosz.
Every performance will be followed by a post show discussion.
Tickets are $18 ($15 for students and seniors) and are now available online at www.smarttix.com or by calling (212) 868-4444.
