Clearview Chelsea will present a special showing of '9 to 5' as part of Chelsea Classics series on April 15th. Chelsea Classics, soon to be celebrating its 9th Anniversary, presents classic films every Thursday night at 7pm and 9:30pm. The 7pm show is hosted by Drag Queen Hedda Lettuce.

'9 to 5' is a revenge comedy about three female office workers (Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Dolly Parton) in a giant corporation who are subjected to the indignity of a chauvinist boss (Dabney Coleman). They entertain wild fantasies to get even through a series of outrageous incidents. When the film first came to theaters in 1980, it was a huge hit not just because of the quality of the film but because of the subject matter of women being treated fairly in the workplace. Theme song was nominated for an Academy Award. Last season the movie was adapted into a Broadway Musical which was nominated for Four Tony Awards. 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL is scheduled to begin a national tour in Nashville this September.

Tickets are $7.50 and are available online at Movietickets.com or in person at the Clearview Chelsea Box Office. Clearview Chelsea is located at 260 West 23rd St between 7th and 8th Ave.
