City Parks Foundation announced the SummerStage APAP Showcase, a special event taking place at the Highline Ballroom on Thursday, January 5, 2012. The showcase will feature Brazilian superstar, Bebel Gilberto and acclaimed jazz vocalist, Gregory Porter as well as other guests for a special night of performances that will offer audiences a preview of the upcoming 2012 season of SummerStage.
Internationally acclaimed and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Bebel Gilberto has taken the legacy of the music from Brazil’s Bahia region to the dance floor, earning worldwide success.
