On February 14th, 2005, there will be a special benefit
performance of Cirque Jacqueline at The Triad Theater in Manhattan. Cirque
Jacqueline is a passionate one-woman play about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis,
written and performed by Andrea Reese. All proceeds from this performance
and from a silent auction at the theater the same evening will go directly
to The American Red Cross International Response Fund to help the victims
of the 2004 tsunamis in Southern Asia and Eastern Africa.
The Triad Theater and everyone connected with this event are generously
donating their services. The play premiered in Manhattan March, 2002 and has
been wowing audiences ever since.
Cirque Jacqueline is directed by Charles Messina, who will direct the
Broadway musical about tragic opera singer Mario Lanza, Be My Love. He also
wrote the feature film Spy, starring Vincent Pastore, Frank Vincent, and Ben
Curtis, which will soon be released. Also in the play in a surprise role is
Paul Urban.
