Cirque Dreams Comes To B'way For 10 Weeks 6/16

The critically acclaimed Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, a theatrical, acrobatic and musical adventure that has toured the country extensively and become an entertainment sensation with audiences of all ages, will make its Broadway debut Monday, June 16 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) for a limited engagement of ten weeks.  The official press opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 26.

Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is an exotic encounter inspired by nature's unpredictable creations that are brought to life by an international cast of 25 soaring aerialists, spine-bending contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and musicians.  The astounding feats performed in this action packed Cirque Dream are enhanced with over 150 spectacular costumes and set in a fantastical jungle ignited by striking visual effects.   From the breathtaking aerial ballet of butterflies to the balancing giraffes, gigantic flowers and trees, this world-class explosion of athleticism, theatre and imagination is a Broadway first.

Cirque Dreams is the latest brainchild of Neil Goldberg's Cirque Productions, creators of international performance and touring sensations Cirque Ingenieux, Cirque Dreams Coobrila and Cirque Dreams Illumination.

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is priced from $25 to $85 and will perform 8 shows weekly at the Broadway Theatre from June 16th through August 24th.  The weekly performance schedule is Mondays at 8 pm; Tuesdays at 7pm; Thursday and Friday evenings at 8pm; Saturdays at 2 pm and 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm and 7 pm.  There are no performances on Wednesdays.  Tickets are available at www.telecharge.com or via phone at (212) 239-6200 or (800) 432-7250.
