Cindy La Ferle Takes First Prize at Anton Art Center's Michigan Annual XLI for Mixed-Media Art Piece FAIRY TALE

Cindy La Ferle of Royal Oak won First Prize for her mixed-media art piece, "Fairy Tale," at the Anton Art Center's Michigan Annual XLI all-media art competition.

Gilda Snowden, Professor of Fine Arts at the Center for Creative Studies and a former Kresge fellow, was juror of the show, which runs from January 24 through February 21.

Out of the 42 artists (total) in the juried show, 11 reside in Oakland County, Michigan. The exhibition runs Jan. 24 - Feb. 24.

The Art Center is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Fridays, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sundays, Noon - 4 p.m.

The Anton Art Center is located at 125 Macomb Place, Mount Clemens, Michigan.
