Tony Award-winner Chuck Cooper will headline Marcus Gardley's dance of the holy ghosts: a play on memory at Yale Repertory's New Theater from March 17th through April 8th, with opening night set for March 23rd.
Directed by Liz Diamond, the show will feature Cooper as Oscar Clifton (who) "prefers to live his memories rather than his life. But when
his estranged grandson comes calling after eighteen years, Oscar must face
a very different version of his past. Together, what future can they make?
This poetic family drama dances from the hilarious innocence of a childhood
crush to the heartbreak of a ruined marriage," state press notes.
Pascale Armand, La Tonya Borsay, Harriett D. Foy,
Brian Henry, and Paul J. Medford will also be featured in the cast of
dance of the holy ghosts.Cooper won a Tony Award for his performance in the
Cy Coleman musical
The Life, and has also been seen on Broadway in
Lennon, Caroline, or Change, Chicago, Passion, Getting Away with Murder and
Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, among others. He also appeared as a regular on the TV show "100 Centre Street."

Maslik, costumes by Jennifer Moeller, lighting by Jennifer Tipton and sound by Arielle Edwards, as well as music composition by Scott Davenport Richards and music direction by XY Eli.
