"So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star?," a BroadwayWorld TV exclusive series will wrap it's first season Sunday, November 2nd with an exciting lineup of Broadway cameos. The first Broadway guest appearance will be none other than the lady in green herself, Broadway's current Elphaba, Christine Dwyer!
CHRISTINE DWYER made her Broadway debut in Wicked after playing Elphaba on the National Tour. Other tours and NYC/regional productions include Rent (Maureen), Tommy, New Hopeville Comics, Tinyard Hill, and Rock N Roll Debauchery. Christine's voice can also be heard on the Lyons & Pakchar debut album, #LOVE.
"So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star?" Is an awesomely awkward comedic satire that follows Micki Manuel Minnelli (Jamison Daniels), a "YouTube Celebrity" overnight, as he searches for stardom wherever he can find it. A German documentary team follows him around on his daily journey to become the next Broadway Star with his fan girl/make-up artist Sandy (Patricia McCarthy) forever by his side. But will he become famous or infamous? Does he even know the difference?
