Internationally celebrated recording artist and The Voice judge Christina Aguilera gave fans of the movie musical DREAMGIRLS a theatrical thrill last night by performing a few lines from the showstopping "Listen" during the show.

"You really want to grab the attention of the listener," Aguilera astutely observes of the opening lines of the dramatic musical tour de force made famous by Beyonce in the successful 2006 film of the iconic 1982 Broadway musical after wailing a few impressive bars herself.

Indeed, instructing team members Amber Nicole and Timyra-Joi in their duet in such a manner provided particularly fruitful given the spectacular performance of the song given by the pair on the telecast.

Of note, "Listen" has recently also been incorporated into the stage version of DREAMGIRLS following its successful reception as part of the film, revised as a duet performed by the characters of Deena and Effie, most recently seen on the 2013 national tour.

Now, there are two dynamic divas worthy of The Voice and Miss Aguilera!

THE VOICE airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
