Casting has been announced for the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival production of the world premiere of WAITING FOR WAITING FOR GODOT, a new comedy by Chelsea Lately writer-performer Dave Hanson.

The cast of WAITING FOR WAITING FOR GODOT will feature Outer Critics Circle nominee Chris Sullivan (Broadway's Nice Work If You Can Get It, Chicago, Lombardi, Defending The Caveman), Dave Hanson (Chelsea Lately, Off-Broadway's The Boss), and Amy Weaver (NBC's The Office, Riverdance).

The only two people who truly understand Waiting for Godot are the understudies waiting for Waiting for Godot. In WAITING FOR WAITING FOR GODOT, two understudies stuck in backstage limbo grapple with art, life, the "biz" and their absurd existence.

WAITING FOR WAITING FOR GODOT will be directed by Alex Harvey (Balm in Gilead, O Lovely Glowworm, Underneath the Lintel,General Desdemona). Hillary Burgess (NBC's Bionic Woman, The Science Channel's Punkin Chunkin, Destination America'sUnited States of Bacon, E! News) is the executive producer. Victoria Dicce (The Collective NY's Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer) is the producer.

The Collective NY is a non-profit theatre and Production Company that unites professional artists who share a responsibility to create work in the contemporary American theatre and cinema that is emotionally truthful, socially relevant, and defiantly accessible. Founded in 2007, the company was established in the tradition of The Group Theatre and utilizes a Permanent Ensemble and extended community of artists to develop and provide access to quality theatre and film.

WAITING FOR WAITING FOR GODOT will be performed at The Kraine Theater (Fringe Venue #10) located at 85 East 4th Street in New York City.

The performance schedule is as follows: Wednesday, August 21 at 3pm; Thursday, August 22 at 7pm; Friday, August 23 at 4pm; Saturday, August 24 at 8:15pm; and Sunday, August 25 at 2:15pm.
