Chris D'Elia is becoming one of the most sought after young comedians and actors in the comedy world. Recently named one of Variety's "Top 10 Comics to Watch," D'Elia currently stars in NBC's Whitney opposite Whitney Cummings. Best known for his physical humor, he is now crisscrossing the country performing his stand-up act.
D'Elia has been featured on Showtime's Live Nude Comedy and Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. He was a regular in the TBS series Glory Daze and can be seen in the half-hour Comedy Central Presents currently airing on Comedy Central. Other credits include appearances on Workaholics, Lopez Tonight, Monk, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
D'Elia explains, "I never really feel like just standing there and telling jokes. I want to move around. In fact, it's hard for me to write a joke where I don't end up on the ground for some reason. Hey, at least that way, I know no comics will steal my jokes. Too many bruises."
