Chitra Ganesh's Installation on Display at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center Thru April 5

Brooklyn artist Chitra Ganesh's new work, a large-scale collage installation titled The Silhouette Returns adorns the lobby of P.S.1 in Queens, where her signature illustrative style with bright colors and wild materials like glitter and fake hair is on elaborate display. Ganesh looks to comic-book styles and graphic novels for inspiration while her art continues to examine complex political and feminist themes.
