Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life to Play Final Show on February 19, Tour Begins January 07

Chita Rivera: THE DANCER'S LIFE, a musical celebrating the life and career of one of America's most beloved stage performers, will play its final performance on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45 Street). The show, which opened on December 11, 2005, will have played 20 previews and 72 regular performances.

A multi-city U.S. Tour of Chita Rivera: THE DANCER'S LIFE will begin at the Miami Performing Arts Center on January 2, 2007, it was announced Monday at a press conference in Miami. International tour dates will be announced soon.

The complete cast of Chita Rivera: THE DANCER'S LIFE includes Richard Amaro, Cleve Asbury, Lloyd Culbreath, Madeleine Kelly, Malinda Farrington, Edgard Gallardo, Deidre Goodwin, Richard Montoya, Liana Ortiz, Lainie Sakakura, Alex Sanchez and Allyson Tucker.
