Children's Museum Hosts Broadway Kids in Holiday Performance 12/22

Broadway's youngest stars from The Lion King, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, Gypsy and other big ticket musicals will perform holiday songs and Broadway favorites as part of a special celebration at the Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) on December 22 at 2PM & 3PM.

The show is free with paid admission and offers children of all ages the chance to experience the excitement of Broadway in the kid-friendly museum, which features numerous interactive exhibitions. CMOM will host two performances, at 2PM & 3PM. Tickets are distributed on the day of the program beginning at 12:30PM at the Visitor Information Desk

The performers are part of The Broadway Kids, a renowned musical troupe that have toured throughout the United States and Europe, bringing exciting performances to thousands of children. The performance will include songs from The Lion King, Peter Pan, Rent, and more.  Alumni of the group include Ashley Tisdale, star of Disney's High School Musical, Lacy Chabert, Andrea Bowen and Jessie Eisenberg, among other young celebrities.

The performance is just one of a series of special holiday events taking place at CMOM throughout December. Highlights Smart Moves Healthy Lifestyles: Savory and Sweet Healthy Holiday Treats cooking workshop on December 16, a reading of The Little Drummer Boy with drum making on December 22 & 23, Magbana Drum and Dance performance in celebration on December 26, the first day of Kwanzaa; and Spanish Sing-Along with Bernardo Palombo on December 29. Museum admission: $9 for children and adults; $6 for senior citizens. Free for children under one year old and members
