Chicago Star Usher Featured on 'The View,' Sept. 21

Five-time Grammy Award-winner Usher, currently starring as Billy Flynn in Chicago, will be featured on "The View" on September 21st.  The show airs on ABC from 11 AM to noon.

"The View" is co-hosted by Joy Behar, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Barbara Walters and new addition Rosie O'Donnell.

Usher, who began his run in Chicago on August 22nd, will play Billy through October 1st.  He is making his Broadway debut.

Usher's album "Confessions" has sold over 15 million copies.  Film and TV credits include In the Mix, Texas Rangers, Light It Up and She's All That, and "Soul Food," "7th Heaven," "American Dreams," and "Moesha."

Chicago, directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, also stars Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. Chicago, a tale about a pair of merry show biz murderesses set in '20s Chicago, features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Bob Fosse (who staged the original 1975 production) and Ebb.
