Cherry Jones to Join Ralph Fiennes and Ian McDiarmid in 'Fai

Variety has reported that Cherry Jones, who won a Tony this season for Doubt, will appear in Brian Friel's "Faith Healer." Already cast in the show are Ralph Fiennes, and Ian McDiarmid.

The show is scheduled to start rehearsals in January for Dublin, Ireland and it'll then make its way to Broadway's Booth Theater in the Spring.

Faith Healer follows the travels to remote villages of faith healer Frank Hardy - part con-man, part genuine artist - his wife Grace, and his manager Teddy. As each character takes the stage, conflicting portraits of their lives together are revealed. The dark secrets of their past are uncovered, culminating in a horrifying conclusion in Frank and Grace's Irish homeland.

Great Irish playwright Brian Friel's many plays include Philadelphia, Here I Come!, The Freedom of the City, Translations, Dancing at Lughnasa and Molly Sweeney.
