Charles Royce Elected to Frick Board of Trustees

At the September meeting of the Board of The Frick Collection, Charles M. Royce was elected as a new trustee. Chairman of the Board Margot Bogert comments, "Charles Royce has been a supporter of the institution for many years, and we are thrilled to see his leadership role expand.

"He brings to this group a long-abiding focus on the preservation of historic properties as well as a professional background in finance, and we are confident that his perspective will prove very useful to the landmarked Frick Collection and the care of its beloved buildings."

Charles Royce is President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Royce & Associates and President of The Royce Funds, a position he has held since 1972.

He has forty-six years of investment experience, with thirty-five years as a smaller-company value portfolio manager. Royce holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University.
