Charles Mandraccia Announces Newest Work SHOWTOONZ: THE 3D MUSICAL

SHOWTOONZ is a new 3D musical of vibrant Broadway characters, which breathes life into 3D animatronic avatars on a three-dimensional virtual stage.

The cast of "Headliners" includes the endearing "Stars," Mickeyboy and Green Kelly, among many others. Hoofers with canes and spats and bowler hats, chanteuses, comedians, and even the audience, all come to life. These charming avatars are typical of Mandracchia's inimitable style, which easily draws us into this fanciful virtual musical theatre world.

Charles has performed in several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, as well as television and film productions. He was in the original cast of Grand Hotel-the Musical as The Doorman and in South Pacific at NYC Opera as Abner. He composed and co-produced the musical, Valentino -the Musical as well as directed and composed his most recent show The Dooples in The Land of Doo-the Musical at The Cherry Lane Theatre, which he is also creating, directing and developing into a 3D animated pilot.

Currently, Charles teaches computer arts to the students in the Sean (P-Diddy) Combs Computer Arts Lab at the E.W. Stitt Middle School building in Manhattan.
