Bridge Street Theatre presents: Charles Busch: Native New Yorker with Musical Director Tom Judson at the piano Sunday January 27 @ 2:00pm, Bridge Street Theatre Mainstage, 44 West Bridge Street, Catskill, NY.

At 2:00pm on Sunday January 27th, come spend an afternoon with a theatrical legend and the quintessence of class! Consummate entertainer Charles Busch returns to Bridge Street, accompanied by long-time musical director Tom Judson, for a special sneak preview of his brand-new cabaret act just prior to its opening at Feinstein's/54 Below in NYC.

"Charles Busch: Native New Yorker" unfolds an outrageously comic yet poignant tale of Busch's early years in the city, striving to find a place for himself in show business and culminating in the opening of his off-off-Broadway cult classic "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom", and includes numbers by Rupert Holmes, Stephen Sondheim, and Jim Croce, among the best of Broadway, film, and pop. Get up-close-and-personal at this benefit for Bridge Street Theatre, then rub elbows with the performers at a "Manhattan" reception immediately following the show.

Tickets for this gala performance are $60, $50 for 2019 BST Season Subscribers. To make reservations (a must - this show will sell out FAST), visit buschny.brownpapertickets.com or call 800-838-3006.

And 2019 Season Passes to Bridge Street Theatre's five-play Subscription Series are now available! $100 gets you a seat for the world premiere of David Zellnik's "The Letters", Jen Silverman's "The Moors", the Joy Gregory/Gunnar Madsen musical "The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World", the world premiere of Michelle Carter's "Better", and Frank D. Gilroy's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama "The Subject Was Roses", not to mention substantial discounts on many other BST events (including both events in January) and special offers from local businesses. To purchase a Season Pass, visit bst2019.brownpapertickets.com or call 800-838-3006.

You can always find information about everything coming up by visiting BridgeStreetTheatre.org, by looking in on the Bridge Street Theatre page on Facebook, or by calling the theater at 518-943-3818.
