To celebrate Pride Month, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus will present "Our Journey: a Celebration of Gay Pride" at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall on Wednesday, June 14th at 8:00PM.

Chicago's Kevin Chamberlin will also make a guest appearance in "Our Journey." Chamberlin has received Tony nominations for his work in Seussical and Dirty Blonde, and has also been seen on Broadway in Triumph of Love, Abe Lincoln in Illinois and My Favorite Year.

Under the direction of co-Music Directors Gary Miller (founder of NYCGMC, 1980) and Casey J. Hayes and Executive Director David Edelman, the 225-member NYCGMC "will rock the rafters of Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall with their signature big-choral sound for an evening music celebrating the perseverance and creativity of the LGBT community," state press notes. The centerpiece of the program will be the east coast premier of an the choral suite, "Metamorphosis." With music by Robert Seeley and lyrics by Robert Espindola, "Metamorphosis" is "an epic journey of coming of age, coming out and family." The special guest star for the evening is the internationally renowned dance company Jennifer Muller/The Works.

"New York is a city built on the diversity of its residents and all who visit it," says Executive Director David Edelman. "That's why no one celebrates Gay Pride like New Yorkers do. This year marks our 26th Pride concert. With NYCGMC's founder Gary Miller returning to the conductors podium with Casey Hayes, NYCGMC is honored to join forces with Jennifer Muller/The Works for what promises to be our most fabulous Pride concert yet!"

Tickets are $27 - $84 and are available through Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center box office (212) 875-5030. For more information, call 212-242-1777 or visit www.nycgmc.org.
