The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center continues its winter/spring season in February with ten events in Alice Tully Hall and the Rose Studio. A special highlight this month is a program titled International Collection, which features the U.S. premiere and CMS Co-Commission of Quintet for Piano, Two Violins, Viola, and Cello by Huw Watkins, who will illuminate his work with a pre-concert chat. The concert also includes works by Debussy, Khatchaturian, and Brahms performed by pianist Gilles Vonsattel, violinists Paul Huang and Alexander Sitkovetsky, violists Matthew Lipman and Richard O'Neill, cellists Nicholas Tzavaras and Paul Watkins, and clarinetist David Shifrin (Feb. 22).

February mainstage performances will also include a Total Mozart program with the Escher String Quartet, pianist Juho Pohjonen, bassist Timothy Cobb, and horn players Jennifer Montone and Eric Reed (Feb. 10); and Farewells, exploring music's ability to say "goodbye" in works by Beethoven, Strauss, and Dvo?ák with pianist Gilbert Kalish, violinists Bella Hristova and Arnaud Sussmann, violists Mark Holloway and Richard O'Neill, cellists Dmitri Atapine and David Requiro, and bassist Xavier Foley (Feb. 26).

February programs in the Rose Studio feature The Art of the Recital, with flutist Tara Helen O'Connor and pianist Pedja Muzijevic in works composed between 1764 and 2000 (Feb 7); and offer a performance of works by Beethoven, Hindemith, and Weber with violinists Francisco Fullana and Philip Setzer, violist Paul Neubauer, cellist Mihai Marica, and clarinetist Sebastian Manz (Feb. 28). In addition, there will be a FREE master class with pianist Gilles Vonsattel, providing an opportunity for the next generation of chamber musicians to learn from chamber music masters (Feb. 25). Rose Studio presentations will also include three Inside Chamber Music with Bruce Adolphe lectures. The series presents live musical excerpts and captivating insights into masterworks performed during the Alice Tully Hall season, with a focus on Borodin (Feb. 6), Beethoven (Feb. 13), and Stravinsky (Feb. 20).

Most Rose Studio series - including Inside Chamber Music, Late Night Rose, and The Art of the Recital - are offered as livestreamed events and are also available on-demand for an additional 72 hours later. Programs can be accessed here.
