Joe Hurley's 7th Annual All-Star Irish Rock Revue will be held this year on St Patrick's Day, Friday March 17th, at the Bowery Ballroom at 8pm. Among the green-sporting performers will be Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris and Annie Golden.

"The St Patrick's Day Extravaganza features an extraordinary mix of top NYC (and far beyond) singers performing all the Paddy R&R classics; bands covered on the night include Thin Lizzy, U2, Van Morrison, Morrissey, Undertones, Costello, Sinead, Waterboys, John Lydon, Pogues, Boomtown Rats, SLF, Dexy's, and as always, loads of traditional gems, as well as a full set from Joe Hurley and Rogue's March (opening band TBA)," according to press notes. The concert marks the 1st year since the debut of The Irish Rock Revue that the show is being held on St Patrick's Day itself.

Cerveris--who won a Tony Award for his work in the Roundabout revival of Assassins--will sing Morrissey's "Irish Blood, English Heart." Golden  (The Full Monty, On the Town), a star of the original production of Assassins, will also be among almost four dozen performers taking part in the evening. Cerveris, whose other Broadway credits include The Who's Tommy and Titanic, currently plays the title role in the smash Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd.
