Celia Keenan-Bolger to Host Colt Coer's Celebration of Play-Making Workshop with Brooklyn Students

Celia Keenan-Bolger (The Glass Menagerie) will join Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Dry Land, Colt Coeur), Genesis Oliver (Everything is Ours, Colt Coeur), Matt Stadelmann (SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN, Colt Coeur), Katya Campbell (How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, Rattlestick) and other Colt Coeur company members in a performance of new plays by Brooklyn public school students ages 11 to 15.

The event is the culmination of Colt Coeur's week-long theatre intensive offered free-of-charge to public school students. The evening will take place at JACK at 505 ½ Waverly Avenue in Brooklyn and will begin with a 6:30pm performance, followed by a reception. The event is free and open to the public however reservations are required. Email coltcoeur@gmail.com to rsvp.

Colt Coeur, an artists' ensemble, collaboratively creates theater from the ground up. Founded in 2010, Colt Coeur has created and produced 5 world-premieres: Seven Minutes in Heaven, together as a company with playwright Steven Levenson; Fish Eye, with playwright Lucas Kavner, Recall, by Eliza Clark, Everything is Ours, by Nikole Beckwith, and Dry Land, by Ruby Rae Spiegel. All of Colt Coeur's productions were New York Times and/or Time Out New York Critic's Picks, and played to sold-out houses.
