Improvisational voice band SUBTLE PRIDE are making their way back to the Big Apple following an undocumented two-year world tour. Having last graced the New York scene with a sold-out run of their one-night show at Dixon Place in 2016, the group returns, this time playing at Rubulad, a DIY performance space in Bushwick (off the Jefferson St stop on the L Train), on Thursday, August 9th at 8pm.
With no catalog of songs, the quartet is known for creating pop hits on the fly in their signature surreal concert experiences. Subtle Pride are expected to announce supporting acts at any minute, keeping their fans on the edge of their seats, as usual.
The band features Netflix It-Girl Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical, The Glass Castle), Brooklyn songstress Mina Walker (Daisy the Great), TV actor Misha Brooks (Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), and writer/producer Zach Donovan (Waif Magazine).
Tickets ($10) are on sale now at imisssubtlepride.bpt.me. Venue address will be provided upon inquiry or at time of sale.
