Casting Announced for Columbia Stages' 'Wild Party'

The Columbia Stages production of The Wild Party has just announced The casting for the show, which runs April 18-22 at the Theatre at Riverside Church. Casting is as follows:

Based on the Roaring Twenties-era poem by Joseph Moncure March, with music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa and book by Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe, The Wild Party follows the tumultuous relationship between a chorus girl and a blackface-performer, culminating in the titular party in which several worlds spin out of control. The Columbia Stages Production is directed by Saheem Ali, with music direction by Micah Young and choreography by Andrew Parkhurst.  Joshua Benghiat is lighting designer and Brad Lemons is fight director.

The Wild Party runs April 18-22 at the Theatre of the Riverside Church, 91 Claremont Avenue between 120th and 121st streets.
