Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Terry Johnson's Hitchcock Blonde at Houston's Alley Theatre, where it will run from February 23rd through March 18th.

Directed by Gregory Boyd, it will star James Black (Not About Nightingales) as Hitch, Mark Shanahan (As Bees in Honey Drown) as Alex, Elizabeth Bunch as Jennifer, Melissa Pritchett as Blonde, and Leraldo Anzaldua as Husband.

The show previously played a hit run in London, and received its American premiere at South Coast Rep in February of 2006.

"What was the dark secret that caused the great Alfred Hitchcock to obsess over beautiful blondes in jeopardy? At a villa in the Greek isles, a British professor and his beautiful young assistant sift through the clues (and the reels of disintegrating celluloid). As the cinematic mystery cuts back and forth between a London soundstage and 1959 Hollywood during the filming of that unforgettable shower scene, illusion and reality collide with surprising results," state Alley Theatre notes.
