Ebenezer Scrooge (Played by Eric Fletcher) and the cast of "A Christmas Carol" the musical by Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell will sing in the holiday season on Wall Street at the 91st annual tree lighting at the New York Stock Exchange at 5p on Tuesday, December 09, 2014. A fitting place for Mr. Scrooge to celebrate his charitable redemption.
These merry redeemers will sing a medley of traditional Christmas carols that our featured in production which plays Off-Broadway at the Players Theatre through December 30th. This is the sixth year for the holiday musical tradition which is based on the classic novel by Charles Dickens. This year's NYSE Christmas Tree is a 60' Norway Spruce which hails from Milton, NY. The tree is adorned with over 100 strands of multi-colored LED lights, 500 multi-colored balls and a 6' star on top, all supported on an 8' x 10' base fashioned as a gift box. The NYSE holiday tree has been Downtown New York tradition since 1923 and is one of the most visited attractions during the holidays.
