The Broadway cast of LEGALLY BLONDE will perform two numbers on NBC-TV's "The Today Show" on Friday, April 27th in the 8am and 9am hours.  The show, which opens on Sunday, April 29, 2007, began preview performances on Broadway at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) on April 3, 2007.

The first musical number at the bottom of the 8-9am hour is "What You Want,"  which serves as Elle Woods' (Laura Bell Bundy) in-person essay for Harvard Law School, UCLA marching band-style.  The second number, to be performed in the 9am hour, is "Bend and Snap," a musicalization of Elle Wood's signature  move which helps give manicurist Paulette (Orfeh) her first shot at true love.

Heading the cast of LEGALLY BLONDE is Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods. Joining her are Christian Borle as Emmett, Orfeh as Paulette, Richard H.  Blake as Warner, Kate Shindle as Vivienne, Nikki Snelson as Brooke and Michael Rupert as Professor Callahan.  Also featured in the cast are: Annaleigh Ashford, April Berry, Paul Canaan, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Beth  Curry, Tracy Jai Edwards, Amber Efe, Gaelen Gilliland, Jason Gillman, Becky Gulsvig, Rod Harrelson, Manuel Herrera, Natalie Joy Johnson, Andy Karl, Nick Kenkel, Michelle Kittrell, Leslie Kritzer, DeQuina Moore, Rusty MoweryKevin Pariseau, Matthew Risch, Jason Patrick Sands, Noah Weisberg, Kate Wetherhead.

At the helm of the creative team of LEGALLY BLONDE is Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, who makes his Broadway directorial debut and also choreographs. Music and lyrics are by both Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and the book is by Heather Hach.  James Sampliner serves as music director.  The production features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume  design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller, orchestrations by Christopher Jahnke and sound design by ACME Sound Partners.

Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer.  So when her  boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never  goes out of style.

LEGALLY BLONDE is produced on Broadway by Hal Luftig, Fox Theatricals and Dori Berinstein, in association with MGM Onstage, Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber.

All tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 212-307-4100, or in person at the Palace Theatre box office, 1564 Broadway.  The performance schedule is Wednesday - Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday, Saturday and  Sunday at 2pm and Sunday at 7pm.  For more information, please visit: www.LegallyBlondeTheMusical.com.
