As BWW previously reported, First Lady Michelle Obama will today welcome the Broadway cast of Hamilton to the White House to host a student workshop, Q&A, and a performance of musical selections from the production. Lin-Manuel Miranda first made the official announcement of the event in the March 9th's #Ham4Ham - check it out HERE.
According to today's Presidential press schedule, the President will deliver brief opening remarks to the performance of musical selections from Hamilton at 5:30 pm/ET. This will be a culmination of the daylong event hosted by the First Lady. The President's remarks and the opening number of the performance will be streamed live at WhiteHouse.gov/live and you can watch it below:
