Cast Announced For StudioRep Season

Cast Announced For StudioRep Season  Image

The actors for #StudioREP inaugural season have been confirmed. Olivier nominated and West End Star David Burt will join the company of six which also includes Dave Fishley, Alice Bailey
Johnson, Imogen Smith and Christopher Williams. In keeping with the spirit of the Rep tradition, the #Studio Rep company will always feature one acting graduate, so The New Actors Company is very proud to introduce Emma Byrne to the company who graduated from GSA this year.

#StudioREP will take place in Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre from 27 August until 24 December. The highly versatile company, which has a 50/50 gender split, will perform in four very different plays: Breathing Corpses by Laura Wade, Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Dresden by Justin Fleming and The Night Before Christmas by Anthony Neilson.

David Burt (The Beggar's Opera RSC, Edmund Kean West End, La Traviata, Donmar
Warehouse, A Christmas Carol Middle Temple Hall) roles in the season include Ray/Charlie in Breathing Corpses, Banquo in Macbeth, and Richard Wagner in Dresden.

Dave Fishley (Our Country's Good UK Tour, Queen Anne RSC, Treasure Island/ Of Mice and Men Birmingham Repertory Theatre) roles in the season include Jim in Breathing Corpses, Duncan/Porter in Macbeth, Meyerbeer/Tichatsheck in Dresden and Simon in The Night Before Christmas.

Alice Bailey-Johnson (Uncle Vanya Hampstead, Insignificance Arcola, The Libertine Theatre Royal Bath and Haymarket) roles in the season include Kate in Breathing Corpses, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Ludwig/ Reissiger in Dresden and Cherry in The Night Before Christmas.

Imogen Smith (Sherlock Holmes and The Invisible Thing The Rudolf Steiner Theatre,
Reformation White Bear, Sunday Readings In The Park Park Theatre/New Actors Company) roles in the season include Elaine in Breathing Corpses, Macduff in Macbeth and Cosima Wagner in Dresden.

Christopher Williams (Small Island National Theatre, To Kill A Mockingbird NYT Rep, Macbeth NYT) roles in the season include Ben in Breathing Corpses, title role in Macbeth, Adolf Hitler in Dresden and Gary in The Night before Christmas.

Emma Byrne (For GSA: The Love Of The Nightingale, 1984, Not A Game For Girls) roles in the season include Amy in Breathing Corpses, Malcom in Macbeth, Gustl in Dresden and The Elf in The Night Before Christmas.

The #Studio Rep project is a celebration of the role of the actor and our inaugural season promises to be one of the most exciting events occurring on the London Stage this year.
