Cartoonist Lucy Knisley celebrates the launch of her brand new graphic book, Displacement at Strand on January 12 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Lucy is the writer and artist behind the Slate and Publisher's Weekly critically-acclaimed title, French Milk. Lucy's newest comic follows her as she cares for her grandparents on a cruise, illustrated in dreamy, oceanic watercolors that match the water surrounding them in all directions.

She will be joined for the evening in conversation by critic Marie Anello of The Absolute.

Buy a copy of Displacement or a $15 Strand gift card in order to attend this event. All options admit one person. Please note that payment is required for all online event orders at the time of checkout. The event will be located in the Strand's 3rd floor Rare Book Room at our store at 828 Broadway at 12th Street.
