On February 10, Curious George premieres its eighth season on PBS Kids with a special appearance by renowned entertainer Carol Burnett, winner of the 16th annual Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. This season's all-new episodes continue to focus on teaching preschoolers about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts, with a special spotlight on engineering.

In the season-premiere episode, "Toy Monkey," George is excited for a visit from Great Aunt Sylvia (Carol Burnett), who brings him a special present: a toy front loader that's...defective? No problem! They take the front loader to the toy factory, but they end up finding a room full of broken toys and no one to fix them. What will they do? Aunt Sylvia is an engineer, so with Curious George's help, a hand drill, pickles, and a little ingenuity, anything is possible! Tune-in as Carol Burnett helps George learn about engineering on Monday, February 10 on PBS Kids (check local listings).

"Toy Monkey" kicks off a full season of brand new episodes that focus on the "E" in STEM education: Engineering. In these new adventures, George learns to design and build a carnival game, a pig-training contraption, and other fun things he puts his monkey mind to. Engineering for preschoolers is a great way to engage their natural Curiosity and hands-on learning style, while also boosting skills that will serve them as they enter school and potentially beyond.

"Like any engineer, George loves to take things apart and put them back together again -- not always in the right way," says executive producer Dorothea Gillim. "He's the perfect ambassador to introduce kids to engineering."

On the PBS Kids Curious George website, parents can access a variety of fun and educational resources to help satisfy their children's Curiosity about STEM learning, including a new engineering game called "Build-a-Bot." Check out the Curious George website for a great variety of fun-filled games, including Super Bouncy Blast Off, special activities, printables, and videos!

Curious George's season 8 premieres on PBS Kids Monday, February 10, is followed by five additional brand new episodes airing on the following dates:
