In an interview with TVGuide, Carol Burnett chatted about her upcoming November 23 appearance on GLEE, Dancing with the Stars, and much more. When asked about her GLEE character, Dori,s Sylvester, Burnett said, "She's retired. They caught the last Nazi. You get the idea where Sue got her temperament from. This mother makes Sue Sylvester look like Mother Teresa."

Of co-star Jane Lynch, Burnett added, "I love locking eyeballs with her because she is a consummate comedian. She knows exactly how to say it and whether or not it will land - and it does every time. And Jane can really sing. In this duet she does the harmony, so it doesn't show off her voice the way it should. But I think they should give her major singing [scenes] because she's really musical."

When asked if she would consider appearing on an upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, she answered, "No - you might first see me getting root canal before I would go on Dancing with the Stars."

Six-time Emmy Award winner Carol Burnett has demonstrated such versatility since ending the 11 year run of the The Carol Burnett Show that she is now as widely recognized for her dramatic abilities as she is for her comedic and musical talents. Americans fondly consider Carol Burnett a true living legend in entertainment, having bestowed more People's Choice Awards upon her than any other woman in the award show's history.

In 2003 she was a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors and in 2005 received The Presidential Medal of Freedom. Some of her other notable awards include five Golden Globes, the Peabody Award for Friendly Fire, and the Ace Award for Between Friends with ElizaBeth Taylor. She has enjoyed the kind of career that most performers are only able to dream of, moving seamlessly from the stage to television, from feature films to films for television, and from variety specials to music and comedy specials.
