Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy Sails to NYMF, Sept. 14-22

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Hip Ship Productions, in association with David Leidholdt will present, Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy: Where's the Moon? from September 14th through 22nd at the 45th Street Theater (354 West 45th Street).

The show will be directed by Elizabeth Lucas and choreographed by Maurice Brandon Curry.  It features book, lyrics and music by David Cooper and Jeffrey Katz

"Join Captain Gravy and his Wavy Navy on a Sergeant Pepper-style psychedelic adventure quest to save the world from the evil Mu Pollu. A wickedly funny, upbeat show about environmentalism that's appropriate for all ages," state press notes.

The show will star James Edward Becton, Edward M. Barker, Brian Barry, Amy Coleman, Kathy Deitch, Enrique Cruz DeJesus, Gregory Guy Gorden, Reggan Holland, Lauren Lebowitz, and Kenny Wade Marshall.

It will feature sets by David Esler, costumes by Carri Skoczek, and lights by Daniel Ordower.
