Capathia Jenkins Performs 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' From DREAMGIRLS

Broadway star and renowned vocalist Capathia Jenkins gives her all to the powerhouse performance showpiece "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from DREAMGIRLS in a live clip recently captured at a BROADWAY ROCKS show in Connecticut.

Broadway Rocks! was described as such: "Featuring hits from Wicked, Dreamgirls, Phantom, Mamma Mia and more, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra's Talcott Mountain Music Festival will turn Iron Horse Boulevard into the Great White Way at Broadway Rocks! on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows. Led by guest conductor Randall Craig Fleischer, this Broadway revue will feature the vocal talents of Morgan James, Capathia Jenkins, and Rob Evan."

Of note, the song has famously been performed by Jennifer Holliday on Broadway - who won a Tony Award for her efforts - and by Jennifer Hudson, who won an Academy Award for the feature film adaptation of DREAMGIRLS.
