The SOS show, "SOS, A Journey Out of the Forgotten Borough... Staten Island..." is returning to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday, October 15th at 7 p.m. Candice Guardin impersonates more than 15 characters, including her family, as she takes you through what "growing up Ginni" was really like, all while singing with a full band. Plus, watch a fun preview video!

Candice Guardin (Creator, Writer, Actress) was born in Brooklyn NY, grew up in Staten Island, & now resides in Hell’s Kitchen. Her parents live in the country, which is what her mother calls NJ. From listening to her Grandma's metaphors & life stories, to impersonating her family members & getting punished for being “Not Nice,” Candice has gained a ton of material & prepared her for her performance in SOS better than any training she has ever had. Some of her favorite credits include: Uprights Citizens Brigade Showcase, LA & NY; New York Musical Theatre Festival: That Other Womans Child (Knob); The NYC Premiere of Worlds Away; New Musical (Juna); Gypsy (Agnes) at Westchester Broadway Theatre; Blues Clues (National Tour) at Madison Square Garden; West Side Story (Anita); Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie) & Antigone (Ismene). TV: Guiding Light; All My Children; Law & Order; & Max Bickford. Candice has a BA in Musical Theatre from Wagner College & is a proud Equity & AFTRA Member. Candice is the great niece of famed 50’s/ 60’s actor Harry Guardino, who was Tony-nominated for his role in One More River. He co-starred opposite Cary Grant & Sophia Loren in Houseboat & appeared in Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry. Candice is a proud AEA, SAG-AFTRA member, a Core Fusion Teacher at Exhale Spa, a Pilates Instructor & a terrible baker, but dreams of owning her own bakery some day. Candice dedicates SOS to her late grandma: Fran Guardin. www.candiceguardin.com
