Canadian theatre legend Nonnie Griffin heads to Theatre Row in New York City with her one-woman show, Marilyn-After.
The play imagines Marilyn Monroe coming back to life fifty years after her passing to tell us about her career, her loves and her untimely death. Nonnie Griffin, the 81 year old star of stage and screen, has performed Marilyn-After to great response in Toronto and continues to tour Ontario with the show before heading to New York City in October. Griffin, who bears a striking resemblance to Monroe, brings her effortlessly to life in an evening of shocking truths, mitigated by touches of wit and humour, for which Monroe was famous.
Marilyn-After will be performed at the Studio Theatre on Theatre Row in New York City on October 3, 2015.
