Camp Broadway, Broadway's Original Summer Camp, continues its ongoing mission of linking the educational community and Broadway by joining forces with Broadway's newest hit musical, In The Heights and the Educational Theatre Association. This newly formed partnership promises to serve high school students from grades 9 through 12 by connecting the In The Heights production to students within the New York metropolitan area.

The fundamental program in this partnership is called Siempre, In The Heights. Along with the goal of bringing the Broadway production to a student audience, schools participating will be provided with a professional teaching artist to assist in the preparation of the class for their trip to see In The Heights.

A critical part of this pre-show education is Camp Broadway's online study guide, StageNOTES created especially for the In The Heights production.

Camp Broadway's StageNOTES series of study guides for Broadway productions has been an essential part of the educational community for over a decade. Each edition of StageNOTES contains sections on history, language arts, behavioral studies, life skills and the arts. The content and lesson plans are all written in compliance with National Standards for Education. These lessons serve to expand a student's knowledge of the Broadway production through activities that are fun, engaging and thought provoking.

Siempre, In The Heights is a donor reliant program. All monetary donations made to Siempre, In The Heights, will be allocated to the overall program unless a donor specifically requests that it be used for a particular school or group. Contributions to Siempre, In The Heights are welcomed in any denomination and can be specified for one child, a class, an entire grade or even a community center. All gifts promise to assist in developing a new generation of theatergoers and lifelong learners. Donations are also tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Camp Broadway, a recipient of the 2002 Standing Ovation Award from the Educational Theatre Association, is dedicated to helping students and families experience theatre in creative and meaningful ways. Over 200,000 students have experienced the programs of Camp Broadway. These programs have served to establish a direct relationship between professional Broadway artists and young audiences thereby allowing a whole new generation to experience the magic and artistry of Broadway.
