The calendar for the 2008-2009 Tony® Award season comes to a starry end tonight. The American Theatre Wing's 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards airs on CBS on Sunday, June 7th from 8:00 - 11:00 PM (ET/PT time delay). The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing.


Following is the list of this year's official Tony events that lead up to the big event:

Thursday, April 30th

OFFICIAL CUT-OFF FOR 2008-2009 TONY ELIGIBILITY

Tuesday, May 5th

2009 TONY AWARD NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT live. 

Wednesday, May 6th

The annual MEET THE NOMINEES PRESS RECEPTION

Thursday, May 21st

The exclusive TONY NOMINEES LUNCHEON is a chance for the nominees to celebrate each other's achievements and receive their nomination certificates. 

Sunday, June 7th

THE 2009 ANNUAL TONY AWARDS take place at Radio City Music Hall. The three-hour ceremony will be broadcast live (ET/PT time delay) on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 - 11:00 PM.

The 2009 Tonys are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. At The Broadway League, Nina Lannan is Chairman and Charlotte St. Martin is Executive Director. At the American Theatre Wing, Theodore S. Chapin is Chairman and Howard Sherman is Executive Director. For Tony Award Productions, Alan Wasser and Allan Williams of Alan Wasser Associates are the General Managers.

Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss/White Cherry Entertainment are Executive Producers of the 2009 Tony Awards. Mr. Weiss will also serve as Director of the 2009 Tony Awards.
