On Friday, September 15 at 7pm, Bernie Furshpan (Managing Partner of the Metropolitan Room) will be honoring one of the hardest working people in the business who's efforts to help young people succeed in their singing careers surpasses the usual, Corinna Sowers Adler!

She's an incredible singer herself and has headlined at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Feinstein's/54 BELOW, Laurie Beechman, The Triad and has appeared in 12 solo shows at the Metropolitan Room.

Corinna is a Vocal Instructor and Director who specializes in working with children and teens and has been an inspirational figure in many of their lives. She has Directed Children's Theater at the Wilkes University Conservatory, Bucks County Playhouse, Pocono Playhouse and several theaters in NJ. She MAC and BroadwayWorld nominated as a Host of the "Music at the Mansion" series, now in it's sixth season.

This is Your Night! is based on a classic premise that is hosted by Metropolitan Room Managing Partner, Bernie Furshpan, and profiles a guest honoree who has contributed in some significant way to the NYC Entertainment Industry. It can include, but not limited to: photographers, writers, bloggers, press, promoters, management, publicists, directors, musical directors, producers, etc. The show presents a gift to the honoree, and includes a line-up of entertainment professionals who will share stories, song and comedy about their experiences and ends with a grand finale, a reunion.

This will be the final This is Your Night! at the Metropolitan Room's current location on 22nd Street.

Performers for this special night will include Frank Dain, James Horan, Warren Schein, Randie Levine-Miller, Ilene Angel with the NiCori Teen Chorus, Cindy Summers, Mark Szep, Sidney Myer, Gerry Mastrolia and KLea Blackhurst plus other surprise guests!
